Hollow Knight is a 2017 Metroidvania action-adventure game developed and published by independent developer Team Cherry. The game is a 2D side-scrolling Metroidvania soulslike game that takes place in Hallownest, a fictional underground kingdom. In the game you play as a bug like creature who is only known as "the knight". As the player traverses the many biomes in the game they encounter many bugs, some help the player bust most will attack on sight. Ther are many bosses and obsticals the player must overcome and since the game has a set difficulty, the player will have to overcome these challenges by simplly improving their skill. The game is know to be very difficult and does not hold the players hand.
